Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive Srinagar — Arrive Srinagar airport / Railway station. Meeting and assistance and transfer to the pre-booked hotel., ü Later boat ride on Dal Lake by a gondola boat called “SHIKARA,” It is known as Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Overnight at the Hotel in Srinagar.
- Day 2: Srinagar - Sonamarg – Srinagar — After breakfast leave for Sonamarg situated at an altitude of 9000 ft. which is 80 kms / 2 ½ hrs drive. Sonamarg is called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky., ü Enjoy The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer, ü Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer., ü Zero point visit, the highest point in Sonmarg (nee to hire a local vehicle), Dinner & overnight stay Hotel. (Zero point is closed on Fridays)
- Day 3: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar — Breakfast at the hotel. Full Day return excursion to Pahalgam (90 kms / 2 ½ hrs) called as “Valley of Shepherds.” Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. On the way you may visit;, ü A local shop to buy dry fruits, ü Kesar / Saffron farm (its season is Oct-Nov, ü Apple plantation (its season is Oct-Dec), On arrival in Pahalgam visit;, ü ABC Valley (Aru Valley / Betaab Valley / Chandanwari) by hiring a local Jeep from the local Union Taxi Office, ü Horse ride trip to Baisaran (Mini Switzerland) meadows (own cost), ü Enjoy nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder., After sightseeing, return for Srinagar. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar
- Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg – Srinagar — Breakfast at the hotel. Full day return excursion to Gulmarg, called as “Meadow of Flowers.” It is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers., Enjoy;, ü Cable car ride (gondola) Phase I (10 minutes uphill ride), ü Cable car ride (gondola) Phase II (20 minutes uphill ride), Return to Srinagar for a Dinner & overnight at the Deluxe House Boat
- Day 5: Srinagar – Onwards destination — Breakfast on board. Later visit;, ü Shankaracharya Temple (hill top temple with 250 stairs), ü Mughal Garden, ü Hazratbal Masjid, ü Shopping at the markets, In time transfer to airport to connect the flight for onwards destination.
